4th Annual 523 Laughs Comedy Night

We're thrilled to host the 4th Annual 523 Laughs Comedy Experience!

Our friend and local comedian Amanda Marks hosts the evening and is excited to present four comedians: Cesar Pichardo, Emily Holden, Mark Kendall and Mookie G. (See more info on each performer below.)

The event will be at the home of Chad and Christina Carter, 226 E Parkwood Road in Decatur and is 21 years old and up for guests, please.

Cesar Pichardo is a Miami-born, Atlanta-based stand-up comedian and actor who performs in both English and Spanish. Known for his sharp storytelling and cultural perspective, Cesar has performed in major cities across the U.S.and toured with comedians like Judd Apatow, Alfred Robles, Led Varela, Chente Ydrach Anthony Fuentes and Angelo Colina. He’s appeared in indie films and continues to build a bold, relatable voice in comedy that connects across cultures.

Emily Holden is a Decatur based stand-up comedian, host and entertainer. Emily has never met a stage she didn’t love or an audience member that didn’t become a friend. She tours nationally with the show, Moms Unhinged. When not touring, you can find her throughout Atlanta, performing at Laughing Skull, Helium Comedy Club, The Punchline and Alley Stage and producing her popular monthly comedy show, Banjo Lounge. Emily has performed with Beth Stelling, Lisa Ann Walters, Derrick Stroup, John Heffron and Jessica Michelle Singleton to name a few. Her comedy focuses on dark scary topics, such as marriage and motherhood, that will make young audiences want to stop for a vasectomy on the way home.

Mark Kendall is an Atlanta comic and co-host of the WABE podcast, "What's Good, Atlanta?"

Mookie G is an Atlanta based standup comic. He began pursuing his comedy dream at the young age of 42. In the beginning, he traveled to and from metro Atlanta restaurants, bars, and parking lots. Now he travels around the country to restaurants, bars, and parking lots. If you’re lucky you can catch him in a city near you at corporate events, retirement homes, comedy clubs, fundraisers, or your cousin's cookout. If he’s performing in your area, go get your laugh on.
