Join us Saturday, October 3, for the 4M Expo at South Dakota Mines!
The 4M Expo is a free, family-friendly community event at South Dakota Mines that brings together mining, materials, munitions, and manufacturing. Visitors of all ages can explore what powers our everyday lives while discovering exciting career pathways and enjoying a day of learning and fun.
There will be plenty for kids and families to explore throughout the day, including:
• Gold Panning
• Sandbox Mining
• Drones
• Rockets
• Giant Equipment Displays
• FREE Admission to the Museum of Geology
The day will also feature the opening session, “Leaders Driving America’s Industrial Future,” with U.S. Senator Mike Rounds and South Dakota Mines President Dr. Brian Tande. Additional featured speakers include Julie Lucus of Minnesota Mining and Tom Glanzer of NorthWestern Energy.
Whether you’re bringing the kids for a day of discovery, exploring future career opportunities, or interested in the industries shaping our nation’s future, there’s something for everyone at the 4M Expo.
