A storm has been building in the magical realm of Lorcana. A powerful Ursula glimmer, unleashed from the Great Illuminary, is at last ready to put plans into motion. How far will the sea witch go to gain power over all Lorcana? Summon your courage as you plunge into Lorcana’s latest set, Ursula’s Return!

EVENT STRUCTURE
At the start of the event, each player will receive four (4) unopened Ursula’s Return booster packs. Players will then be seated into random groups of people, referred to as pods. The number of people in each pod can vary, although every effort will be made to have as close to eight players as possible per pod.
When instructed to do so, each player will open their first pack, select one card to add to their card pool, then pass the remaining cards to the player to their left in their pod. Then they collect the pack from the player to their right, select a card, and pass the remaining cards to their left.
Card selection continues in this manner until all cards from the first pack have been drafted. The direction of passing reverses for each pack: the second pack is passed to the right, the third pack is passed to the left, and the fourth pack is passed to the right.
Once all packs have been drafted, the cards that each player selected during the drafting process become their completed card pool for deck construction. As this is a casual draft tournament, players will be paired against any other player in the tournament regardless of draft pod.
WELCOME TO THE FAMILY MADRIGAL!
In Ursula’s Return, cards from the movie Encanto make their debut! Which means during this event weekend, you will join the family Madrigal!
All the people of the Madrigal family are fantastical and magical, and that includes YOU! At the conclusion of each event, all participating players will have a chance to visit our Casita and open a magical door to reveal what special gift you’ve been blessed with. Gifts will be randomized to match one of the following characters…
Julieta
Isabela
Luisa
Bruno
Mirabel & the Madrigal Family
Players who reveal Julieta will be granted her healing powers and will receive a delicious arepa! Players who reveal Isabela will be granted her botanical powers and will receive a packet of seeds to grow their very own plants! Players who reveal Luisa will be granted her super strength and will receive an extra booster pack to tear into! Players who reveal Bruno… well, we normally don’t talk about Bruno. But in this case, they will be granted his ability to see into the future and will receive $5 off a future Lorcana event entry! Finally, players who reveal Mirabel and the Madrigal family will receive the best gift of all! Not only will they receive an extra booster pack of Ursula’s Return, but they will also be entered into a drawing for an Ursula’s Return Booster Box!
PRIZING
At the conclusion of the event, every participant will receive two Ursula’s Return booster packs as participation prize support. All participating players will have the opportunity to participate in our Release Weekend Special Giveaway, “Welcome to the Family Madrigal!” The random drawing to determine the winner of the Ursula’s Return booster box will take place after the final event is held on Sunday, May 19th.
