Ever wondered what's behind Rotterdam's legendary port?

During World Port Days (4-6 September), the city's beating heart opens its doors. Go on board ships, explore harbour sites and meet the people who keep one of the world's largest ports running — places that are normally off-limits to the public.

The quays around the Erasmus Bridge come alive with water shows, demonstrations and interactive stands, while excursions take you deeper into the action on land, water and in the air.

Most of the programme is free. A handful of exclusive excursions require tickets, available from August.
