48th Annual HBMS Mushroom Fair

Step into the enchanting world of fungi at the 48th Annual Mushroom Fair, hosted by the Humboldt Bay Mycological Society (HBMS)!
Join us for a day of fresh fungi displays, educational talks, workshops, vendors, food trucks, and more. Shop mushroom cultivation kits, books, art, apparel, and other fungi finds, and bring mushrooms you'd like identified by our experts. If you can't bring the mushroom itself, photos showing both the top and underside work too!
The annual Mushroom Fair is HBMS's largest fundraiser of the year. Proceeds support scholarships, speaker honoraria, and programs that inspire education and appreciation for fungi throughout our community.

Date: Sunday, November 22, 2026
Time: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
HBMS Members: Free admission and early entry beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Location: Arcata Community Center, Arcata, CA
Admission:
Adults: $10.00
Students, Seniors (60+), Veterans, Kids 7-17: $5.00
Children 6 and under: Free
No one turned away for lack of funds
🎟️ Tickets will be available at the door only on the day of the event.
🎨 Fair t-shirts featuring Cordyceps militaris by HBMS member Erielle Laura will only be available at the event!
Vendor applications for the 2026 Mushroom Fair are now closed. If you missed this year's application period, follow us here or consider becoming an HBMS member to hear about future opportunities. Please be cautious of scams. HBMS will never contact you through comments or direct messages offering vendor spaces or requesting payment. Vendor spaces cannot be resold or transferred.
