Spend a weekend learning through filmmaking classes and hands-on production at Boster Castle Studios, then put those skills to work helping create your original short film.
Pick the areas of filmmaking you want to learn. You goes from idea to filming to editing and all the way to your red carpet screening on Sunday, and you're hands on for every step.
48 hours. One film. You're part of the crew.
✓ 4-Hour Production 101 — A FREE EXPERIENCE. Included at no additional cost during the filmmaking event. The foundations you need to work on a real set: how a production runs, who does what, and how to pitch in.
✓ Real production experience. Hands-on work on an actual short film, not a classroom exercise.
✓ Work alongside experienced filmmakers. Adam Boster and the working professionals of Boster Castle production team.
✓ Choose your preferred departments. Rank your top three filmmaking paths, from acting to camera to editing and every position in between.
✓ Help create an original 5–10 minute movie. A brand-new short film, made by you and the rest of your crew.
✓ Audition opportunity for actors. Want to be on camera? Read for a part.
✓ Pre-production and directing exposure. For participants focused on directing, where applicable.
✓ Screen combat and fight choreography. See how action is designed and performed safely for camera.
✓ Official IMDb film credits. Build your professional resume online.
✓ Submit your own story idea. Your concept could help shape the film.
✓ Your movie on YouTube. The finished film will be available on YouTube to share with everyone you know.
