The South Padre Island Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome anglers, captains, and their families to the 45th Annual Ladies Kingfish Tournament, taking place August 7–9, 2026 on beautiful South Padre Island.This all-women’s tournament, one of the longest-running of its kind in Texas, continues a 45-year tradition. Each year, anglers from across the region take to the water in both Bay and Offshore divisions, competing across multiple species for top honors.
Participants can look forward to a full weekend of events, beginning with registration on Friday, followed by a full day of fishing on Saturday, and concluding with the highly anticipated Awards Ceremony on Sunday. Winning anglers will receive custom prizes, including signature tournament awards, with special recognitions such as Grand Champion Bay Division, Grand Champion Offshore Division, and the cherished LKT Legacy Award.
