42nd Annual Oakville Prayer Breakfast - Dec 3, 2025

Making affordable, supportive housing a reality has been the prayer of the featured speaker for the 42nd Annual Oakville Prayer Breakfast on December 3rd. With more than two decades of success in this realm, Jeff Neven, CEO of Indwell, will witness to his deep commitment to solving the housing crisis and homelessness prevention.

One of Ontario’s largest and fastest growing supportive housing charities, Indwell creates affordable housing communities for people seeking health, wellness, and belonging. Under Jeff's leadership, Indwell has grown from three staff supporting five tenants, to an organization of more than 350 staff, that provides housing and support to some 1300 tenants. In addition, Jeff is involved in community development, active transportation, his local church, and promoting recreational and employment opportunities for remote indigenous youth.

Jeff earned a Master of Social Work degree in Community, Policy, Planning, and Organizations from Wilfrid Laurier University and has been a Registered Social Worker for 20 plus years.

He has founded and continues to provide leadership to several non-profit organizations and charities, including three non-profit bike shops in three different nations.

In recognition of his exceptional contributions, Jeff was honored with the "40 Under 40" Next Generation of Hamilton Leaders Award in 2017. He has been cited in hundreds of news articles and is a regular speaker at National and Provincial conferences.
