In many traditions, the Winter Solstice is a time to tell stories and make music to get to the other side of the darkest night of the year. Join us for an evening of heartfelt stories and music to help us all hold onto the light for this longest night. Our special guest storyteller this year is Onawumi Jean Moss https://www.onawumi.com/
Other artists include John Porcino, Rona Leventhal, Rochelle Wildfong, Tim Van Egmond, Yosl Kurland, Christy Grecsek, Sarah Pirtle, Sonny Crawford, and ReBekka Tippens
This year's Winter Solstice Celebration will begin at 6:30pm at the Cherry Hill Co-Housing Common House at 120 Pulpit Hill Road in Amherst, MA. There are no advance tickets or reservations. The venue holds approximately 90 people. Please plan accordingly for doors to open at 6pm.
Suggested donation of $15-$30 for Adults, $5-$10 for children. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Door proceeds will be given to The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).
Non-perishable food items are also welcome, and will be donated to a local food bank.
It's our tradition to join the audience at intermission for a community pot-luck of snacks and desserts. Please bring something to share if you feel moved to do so!
