Since 1985, the Kendig Awards have honored people, businesses and organizations across Virginia’s Blue Ridge for their exemplary leadership and support of the arts. The program highlights the essential role that arts and culture play in our lives and communities, including economic development and education.
Named after former Roanoke College President Perry F. Kendig, the awards are a joint initiative of Roanoke College and Hollins University.
