The 40th Annual Elizabethtown Fair Chicken BBQ will be held Saturday, May 9, 2026, on the Elizabethtown Fairgrounds. A Bake Sale benefitting the Fair Queen Scholarship Competition will be held in conjunction with the BBQ. Cookbooks, Making Memories II”, will also be available for sale.The Chicken BBQ and Bake Sale will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased for 1/2 chicken at $6.00 or dinners at $13.00. Dinner will include 1/2 BBQ chicken, potato chips, applesauce, roll, dessert and a drink. There will be a drive-through pick-up on the Fairgrounds.
Advance BBQ dinner tickets are now available for $11.00 from Elizabethtown Fair members and friends, or by calling 717-808-1397. Tickets may also be purchased at Brandt’s Farm Supply, Groff’s Meats and B & G Lumber.
