AXIS Dance Company invites you to celebrate the start of our 40th anniversary season and to welcome our new Executive Director Holly Million!
Free to attend. Please RSVP so that we can plan for food and drink.

Join us for a casual community gathering as our new Executive Director Holly Million meets the partners, supporters, and audience members who have kept AXIS going since 1987, and shares her vision for carrying our mission into the next forty years. Light refreshments will be provided.

Holly joins AXIS after more than 35 years as a nonprofit executive and fundraiser, work that has included raising millions for arts organizations and for documentary and dramatic films, among them an Academy-Award winner.

AXIS is one of the nation's most acclaimed ensembles of disabled, non-disabled, d/Deaf and neurodiverse performers. Our vision is a radically inclusive dance sector and world, built by removing barriers and showcasing the beauty of difference.

Accessibility

• The Hub at City Center has wheelchair accessible entrances and accessible restrooms.
• The Hub is located about three blocks from the Ashby BART station.
• ASL interpretation will be provided at the event.
• Although we cannot guarantee a completely scent-free space, AXIS’ goal is to make our events as fragrance-free as possible for the health and safety of performers, audience, and staff with Multiple Chemical Sensitivities (MCS). We request that those who share our space please NOT wear fragrance or scented products when attending our events. However, we cannot control the use of all cleaning products, scents, or common food allergens within the building.
