About this Event

About This Event

The Leeds Society of Architects, in conjunction with Leeds Beckett University, Leeds Civic Trust and RIBA, are excited to announce the return of the popular 4 X 4 talk series following an extremely successful and positive re-launch, due to be held across four Thursday evenings in February 2026.

Each evening will be chaired by four expert hosts, who will lead Q&A sessions with each and everyone of this year's sixteen brilliant speakers. For this year's series attendees will hear about the relationship the Built Environment, Architecture & Development has on People & Place, in the City of Leeds and further afield.

Week 2 panel

Chair: Peg Alexander, Broadcaster and Presenter

Speakers:

  • P+HS Architects talking about their work as part of the New Hospital Programme (NHP) framework agreement for Yorkshire.
  • James Hartley (Latch Charity) talking about the brilliant work the charity does in the city.
  • Guy Smith (Bauman Lyons) talking about the RIBA Award Winning Hull Minster Project.
  • Final speaker is very close to being finalised – hopefully early next week, so watch this space!
