This rotating workshop series invites you into a hands-on exploration of ancient and modern fabric printing methods, guided by artist and educator Simone, on tour from Jamaica, the U.S., and Paris.

Each week features a different technique from Simone’s signature collection:

• Water Marbling on Fabric: Paint on water and print your design onto silk — a mesmerizing, meditative process with magical results.
• Cyanotype Botanical Printing: Use light-sensitive chemistry and local leaves to create rich blueprints capturing nature’s silhouette.
• Shibori Dyeing with Indigo: Learn Japanese resist-dyeing techniques and dip into the world of indigo on cotton or silk.
• Silk Painting: Explore color blending, brushwork, and fabric flow using professional silk dyes to create your own textile masterpiece.
