We can't wait to welcome back Juano and Virginia! Yayyy!
They will be teaching a 4 week series starting on September 17th. The general theme of the first 3 classes will be Embodying Movement – Exploring Tango Styles: Salon - Milonguero - Nuevo. Understanding the essence of different tango styles through movement. - Recognizing analogies and differences in technique, embrace, and musicality. - Practical exercises to approach different styles. And the last class will be on milonga and vals.
We can't wait to hug them both and immerse ourselves in this exciting learning journey!
Logistics:
Time: 7:30-9:00 Intermediate class, 9:00-10:30 Intermediate advanced. Cost: $20 for one class, $30 for two classes, cash at the door ONLY.

3rd Wednesday (Oct 1): TANGO NUEVO - Expanding Movement Possibilities**
Exploring elasticity, dissociation, and off-axis movements. - Understanding phrasing and musical freedom in contemporary tango. - Building a vocabulary that allows creativity while respecting the essence of tango.
4th Wednesday (Oct 8): VALS & MILONGA
VALS: Flow, circularity and smooth transitions
MILONGA: Groove, rhythm and playful dynamics
