4 Star Weightlifting Summer Camp

Join us at 4 Star for one of our, if not, favorite events! 4 Star Weightlifting Camp is 48 hours of intense education and training put on by our Coaching team. This will be our 8th camp and we are excited more than ever for a fresh updated training template, greater challenges for athletes to overcome, and even bigger progress from the athletes attending both beginner and advanced.

Building on a plan of development long term for the athletes we will be going over...

1. Proper Setups and liftoffs with acceleration understanding
2. Positioning throughout the lift and how to maintain
3. Owning the bar overhead vs being a victim to it
4. Specialized training techniques such as blocks and segments
5. Drill work for long term refreshers

We will attack 4 Training sessions through the weekend each with a team warmup before them. Friday night a direct itinerary with material will be sent out to framework out and give standards of movement out to the athlets before each session as well the content from the speakers. Each training day the sessions will be doubles, between will be a working lunch with a speaker engagement.

Each session will be 3-4 hours long depending and will be both educational and physically demanding. We encourage both experienced lifters and newer athletes to attend as the environment is a great place to relearn fundamentals, educate yourself with different cues and teachings, and also push yourself in a highly motivational place.

Saturday & Sunday will have speaking engagements that will be informative and in relation to athletic performance - more to come

This camp is one of a kind and we hope to see you there, it will challenge your mind and body but everyone always walks away knowing more about their sport, and themselves every year we host it! We change the format a little bit each year to allow people to keep coming back and this year we have made a bunch of adjustments so hope to see many of you again and hear some great progress stories by the end of camp!
