First year showing poultry at the fair? Thinking about trying the Broiler or Turkey Derby? You don’t have to figure it out alone!We’re offering two poultry workshops this year to guide youth and families through the entire process.
Session 1 | March 26th | 5:00 pm: Learn how to care for your birds, what to feed them, and how to spot illness
Session 2 | June 23rd | 4:00 pm: Learn how to groom, prepare, and confidently exhibit at the fair
Broiler Derby registration deadline is March 31, so now is the time to sign up and get prepared!

This educational program is offered at no cost and is funded by the Muscatine County Extension Council. It is open to all youth interested in learning more about poultry care and exhibition.
