About this Event

4-H Teen Leadership Retreat: Building Resilient Leaders Through Nature and Health
The 4-H Teen Leadership Retreat is a one-of-a-kind overnight summer experience designed to help teens build confidence, independence, and real-world skills as they transition into young adulthood. Set in the beautiful outdoors at James 4-H Camp, this immersive, screen-free week challenges teens to dive into their potential through hands-on workshops, creative exploration, and team-based challenges. Campers will build practical life skills in ways that are engaging, relevant, and actually fun!
Throughout the week, participants will explore:
• Cooking and nutrition skills for life beyond high school
• Personal finance basics and budgeting
• Leadership and communication development
• Resume building, goal setting, and future readiness
• Fitness and mental wellness practices
• Creative expression like songwriting, journaling, art, and jewelry making
• Basic first aid and CPR awareness

Teens will grow their resilience, discover new strengths, and form lifelong friendships in a supportive and inclusive camp community.
This camp is open to all Arizona youth ages 13–16, and 4-H membership is not required.
Join us for a week of growth, connection, unforgettable memories and of course FUN!
