Toast to fresh starts and resolutions on Saturday, January 25th with an exclusive after-hours evening at Eagles Rest Cellars hosted by winemaker, Audra and the co-owners Royce and Debra. Treat yourself to a 4-course dinner paired with Eagles Rest wines and food delights specially created by chefs Amanda and Micah. Experience Eagles Rest like never before—two long, candlelit tables in our cozy tasting room, surrounded by our breathtaking ridgeline views and warm outdoor firepits.
First course – Appetizer, Crab stuffed mushroom with a black truffle cream sauce & a sprout and arugula salad. Paired with our dry white Vidal wine.
Second course – Soup/Salad, Spinach salad with rutabaga, blue cheese crumbles, dried dates & a maple Dijon vinaigrette served with a creamy roasted carrot & caramelized onion soup. Paired with our semi-sweet white Brianna wine.
Third course – Entrée, Sweet potato & apple pork roulade topped with a rich rosemary demi-glace & goat cheese served with roasted garlic & root vegetable mash. Paired with our dry red Petit Pearl wine with hints of caramel toasted oak.
Fourth course – Dessert, Chunky Monkey Cheesecake (banana cheesecake with walnut pieces & dark chocolate with caramel & chocolate crust). Paired with our sweet Pink Catawba and strawberry wine.
The price per person is $65. Enjoy this tasting experience with friends old and new—seating is communal style for 15. History of Eagles Rest and wine pairings will be described in this special tasting experience.
