Come join us on 4/20 for a Three Strikes tournament at Starchamber Arcade.A three strikes tournament is broken into rounds. For each round, players play in groups of 3 or 4 on an assigned machine with lower performing players earning a strike. After each round, new groups are formed for the next round and new machines are assigned. After each round, any players with 3 strikes are eliminated from the tournament. Last player without 3 strikes is our winner.
To keep things moving blazing fast on a Monday Night, every player who does not get first place in their group will earn a strike that round.
Costs:
Tournament Fee: $10. All of this goes to the cash prize pool. Please bring cash for the tournament fee.
Venue Entry Fee: $10. Starchamber arcade has a flat $10 entry fee for tournament participants from the start of registration (6:00 pm) until the end of the tournament. You may continue to play after elimination while the tournament is ongoing. All machines are set to free play, no quarters necessary.
Prizes:
The cash prize pool (from the tournament fee) will be split among the top three players as follows:
- First place: 60% of prize pool
- Second place: 30% of prize pool
- Third place: 10% of prize pool
Total prize pool is number of participants * $10
This tournament is being submitted for IFPA approval
Registration begins at 6:00 pm on Monday 4/20. Tournament starts at 6:30 pm.
