Toxic masculinity is a term often discussed today, but it’s more than just a trending topic—it represents harmful attitudes and behaviors that have deeply affected women across generations. At this panel, we aim to explore the roots of toxic masculinity, particularly its impact on Black women, and to reframe masculinity in a way that reflects the love and leadership Christ models.

Our discussion will focus on understanding masculinity through a Christian lens, defining what healthy, Christ-centered masculinity looks like and how it can empower and uplift women rather than diminish their worth. We will also explore practical ways to raise emotionally aware Black boys and how we can support Black men in seeking help, healing, and growth.
