4/11 SPRING FUNGI FORAGE

Let's go for a hike while will we work on how to identify different culinary fungi and discuss their nutritional values. Some things we may find on our forage adventure are Dryad's Saddle, Mica Cap, Yellow Morel, Black Morel, Half-Free Morel, Oyster Mushroom, Deer Mushroom, and Wine Caps.

5 out of 10 strength and endurance - approximately 3 1/2 to 5 mile walk on very few dedicated paths

Dress for weather and comfort

NO BATHROOM ON SITE

Bring a basket, trowel, knife, and any other tools for gathering fungi, water and bag lunch.

*Must wear BRIGHT ORANGE or REFLECTIVE clothing / hat*

Identification materials will be provided at the location.
