Every 3rd Saturday of the Month NC Urban Mushing meets up at a location around the triangle to run dogs! Location: Carolina North Forest- Municipal Drive Parking Lot: https://maps.app.goo.gl/Eg19pbvJ97kiKFMP6
This month, we'll be at Carolina North Forest at the Pumpkin loop. This is truly a beginner friendly meetup with at 2.5 mile loop that's essentially a wide packed gravel road, you can canicross or try your hand at bikejoring/dog-scootering.
We will have the gear you need to get started, just bring your dog, a leash, good shoes for trails, treats and water unless you already have some gear you like. We have plenty of harnesses/lines/belts for folks to canicross with, and I'll have a spare scooter for folks to try.
Depending on who attends may change the "flavor" of the meetup, but you're welcome to choose your own adventure and hang out in the parking area after for some snacks.
