3rd Friday Contra in Durham

The Third Friday contra series, courtesy of Triangle Movement Collective, returns for the end of summer, but not the end of humidity in NC (scheduled for late October). We'll be at Reality Ministries one more time before a break in September to make space for the Feet Retreat dance weekend.

Beginner lesson at 7:30, dancing 8:00-11:00! If this is your first contra dance, please arrive by 7:15 so you can check in and be ready by the start of the lesson. There will be a brief break halfway through and then more dancing till 11.
No partner or prior dance experience required!
Wear comfortable soft-soled shoes and cool, comfortable clothes.
No/very low fragrances, please.
Masks are welcome but not required.
Our suggested sliding scale for admission is $10 - $30. No one is turned away for lack of funds. Pay an amount that feels good to you. We accept cash or credit card.
