3rd Community Farming Festival Day 2026

Join us for a fun-filled day celebrating local fruit and veg! Whether you're a green thumb or just here for the food!, there's something for everyone. Expect hands-on activities, tasty lunch from the land, and loads of chances to connect with fellow community members. Bring your friends, your kids, your smile, and get ready to dig into some awesome outdoor fun! Can't wait to see you there!

We have the farm marquee, picnic benches and facilities that will allow us to host this event and we are grateful for the funding from Wiltshire Area Board and the support of Climate Friendly Bradford that has enabled these events to happen.

Activities will be;

• A guided walk through our productive nature friendly farm

• Community feast

• We will get to see how the crops from our first session in May have come along, there is always sowing, planting and tending to do to keep a succession of crops bearing.

• The vines will need training up and this is a great team activity where we space out along the rows and as a team we catch and hook in the young growth after flowering has finished

The event is open to all and we are designing the day to be family friendly. Through our team of qualified co-ordinators and volunteers we will offer individuals the opportunity to set their own pace whilst enjoying this earthy experience. Both qualified Well-being and child care specialists will be present and part of the farm team on the day as well as skilled growers and chefs cooking us delicious treats. The day will likely follow our routine pattern of;

• 9.15am arrive

• 9.30am cuppa and catch-up, in this case it will be ‘Welcome and Introduction’, If people wish we could then take a little tour around the farm

• 10.30am morning activity

• 12.30pm lunch ( will be based on vegetables grown from the farm by our skilled chefs and volunteers)

• 1.30pm afternoon activity

• 3.30pm tea and coming together for end of day and reflection
