Join CRCStudio and Closer To Free as we celebrate another fundraiser for Smilow Cancer of New Haven Connecticut! This is year three of this amazing community outreach and we couldn’t be more excited to assist the riders who cycle on September 6th for the official race!! Our sponsor this year is once again the great Andrew Bottinick. Cancer survivor and chairman for the Naugatuck YMCA!!! He is big into cycling and he supports the efforts of the dance instructors he has become great friends with. We are honored to raise the funds for his team and to raise the money for cancer research!Smilow also serves those who suffer outside of oncology. Your host Carolyn Collazo has been a patient of the hematology department since 2017 for a blood disorder that has attempted to devastate her life multiple times. The strength and devotion she has to Zumba keeps her body moving and active so the terrible disorder doesn’t win.
We are doing this for all who have family and friends fighting, for those who have been lost, and those who are cured but continue to soldier on for the cause! We look forward to dancing with you.
