Project Blessings All Year Round Org. & Robert H. Burns American Legion Post 16 is requesting support from the community for a fundraiser benefitting homeless veterans & those going through transition .
The 3rd ANNUAL :
“Sleepout for Veterans” FUNdraiser event will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 11:00am
2031 Ronald Reagan Highway. It will benefit Welcome Ministries Community Home (PBAYR Org.) the only homeless /transitional (Independent Living) home for veterans & those going through transition.

The Sleepout for Veterans will be open to the public. It will entail sleeping in tents, shelters, cardboard boxes or other camping arrangements to simulate the plight of homeless veterans. Individuals or groups willing to participate are invited to set up beginning at 10am for the HOLIDAY MARKET & RESOURCE FAIR - begins at 11am & SLEEP OUT set up begins at 1PM on November 22 in the field behind Post 16.
We will have a great line up & activities !
FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENT !
Donations of blankets, linens, towels, socks, personal care items, utensils, plates, laundry pods, bleach, deodorant, bowls, pots and/or pans and/or monetary are requested from the community in recognition of those participating in the sleepout.
Sponsorship funds will be used for promoting the event, feeding the sleepout participants and supporting homeless veterans in TRI-Parish Area . Please join local businesses and veteran groups to make this event to help homeless veterans a success.
