We’re excited to announce that One Battle is this year’s Patriot Palooza recipient, a veterans-helping-veterans nonprofit supporting Wisconsin vets.
One Battle is a Wisconsin-based nonprofit serving veterans and their families, with roots in the Eau Claire and Chetek area and support reaching Eau Claire, Chippewa, Dunn, and Barron counties.
They offer help with rent, car payments, phone bills, and other basic needs when a veteran hits a hard season. One Battle is also a strong advocate for mental and physical health, with a big focus on peer support—veterans helping veterans—because support from someone who’s “been there” can be the difference between staying stuck and getting back on track.
One Battle also offers therapeutic adventure experiences (like trips to the Boundary Waters in Minnesota) designed to reconnect veterans with purpose, teamwork, and belonging—something many miss after military life.
