“Paint the Cog Orange” is a unique and exciting event where participants will ride the iconic Cog Railway to the summit of Mount Washington, the highest peak in the Northeast. This fun-filled day is designed to promote mental wellness, reduce stigma, and raise vital funds for mental health research. This event is held in conjunction with our annual Summit Mt Washington hike.
Event Details:
Date: August 22, 2026
Time: 11:00am registration, 11:45am Boarding, 12:00pm departure from Base Station, 1:00pm arrive at summit, 2:00pm departure time from Summit back to Base Station for 3pm. (This allows for approximately an hour of exploring the summit of Mt Washington.)
Location: Mount Washington Cog Railway, Marshfield Station, NH
Trip Length/Distance: Approximately an hour to the summit. The Summit of Mount Washington is 6,288 ft.
