“Supporting the Transition from Teen to Adulthood”
This community event raises awareness around youth mental health and suicide prevention, focusing on the critical transition period between adolescence and adulthood.
Our mission is to provide resources and support for youth aged 12 to 24, as well as their families and friends.
Youth mental health is a continually evolving challenge that requires strong community engagement and reliable resources.
Together, we can help bridge the gap and create lasting change!!
📝The Nicholas Zhou Legacy Fund was established in 2022 in memory of Nicholas Zhou, who struggled with depression and passed away at age 19. Over the past two years, this Run have raised $32,127 through the BC Interior Community Foundation. Earlier this year, $10,000 from this fund was donated to FOUNDRY BC, a new youth mental health initiative supported by Interior Community Services (ICS), which will open its doors in downtown Kamloops in 2026. 100% of the funds raised will stay within our community🥰💪
