Artists, musicians, vendors, food trucks, raffle prizes, live entertainment and activities ranging from a toy drive to an instrument petting zoo, all promise to engage attendees of all ages. The lineup for live entertainment features Hank Barbee & the Dust Parade! Come join the celebration and experience this summer twist to America's favorite holiday!

Info: The Dust Parade is a genre-bending original music group born from the sandy beaches and river towns of Eastern North Carolina. Hank Barbee leads the 'The Parade', his sultry and mellow baritone voice engages the lyrical conversation, while just underneath, his bluesy electric guitar passages marry with Jim Durham's saxophone. Since forming in 2017, they play a unique brand of surfy/jazz-rock and bluesy/soul rhythms set to life over incisive and socially conscious songwriting.

Info: Step into an evening of elegance, entertainment, and community impact at the New Bern Christmas in July “Summer Wonderland” Gala!
The evening begins with a festive cocktail hour, followed by a captivating performance from the incredibly talented and elegant Alisa E. Mike. Guests will then have the opportunity to purchase bingo cards and enjoy three exciting rounds of merry bingo while supporting a meaningful cause.
The celebration continues as Joe Brown & The Band take the stage with an electrifying performance of “Music for the People” that will have guests dancing and celebrating all night long!
Enjoy a cash bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and an atmosphere filled with holiday cheer in the heart of summer. Gala attire is formal or festive.
A portion of all proceeds will be donated to one of our nonprofit community partners (Food Bank of CENC, Colonial Capital Humane Society, and Interfaith Refugee Ministry), helping support the important work they do throughout our community.

Info: A native of Tarboro, NC, Alisa has been singing most of her life, from church to school, college to military bases, from NC to Okinawa, and finally here to the town of New Bern. Whether performing on the deck of Persimmons, on the street during ArtWalk or at private functions, she has become a local favorite over the past four years. In August of 2018, Alisa released an independent cover album of Jazz standards to a standing room only crowd at City Stage. The album is available on iTunes!
