Time for a THREE-PEAT!! Join Janet of Dance With Janet, along with other instructors from the Midwest, as we bring Country Couples & Line Dancing Together for a 3-DAY DANCE PARTY!
2024’s Midwest Country Dance Party was such a hit that we’ll be returning May 29th – June 1st, 2025 to the lovely HOLIDAY INN – CRYSTAL LAKE, IL on Rt. 31, twenty minutes north of I-90 (about forty-five minutes from O’Hare Airport & ninety from Midway). You’ll never know you’re on a main road once you’re inside; the recently remodeled hotel overlooks a small lake surrounded by trees. Shopping and restaurants are plentiful within a few minutes’ drive east or west on nearby Rte. 14. Plan to stay the weekend to learn, dance, party, and support our host hotel! Our room block will open mid-July of 2024.
- Check out 20 NEW LINE DANCES taught TWICE each by Gail Dawson (TN), Lynn Card (MN), and joining us this year, Amy Christian(MI)! Rachel Mercedes (IL) & I complete the line dance staff.
- Take COUPLES DANCE LESSONS from the ER Unit (Eric Nava & Rachel Mercedes, IL), Kat Warner & Elijah Wilson (IN), and our newest addition that you’re gonna love, Jason Miklic & Sophy Kdep (KY).
- Chicago’s DJ Dave will be returning to host our open dances at night from 7 pm – midnight on Thursday, Friday, & Saturday nights! He’ll play to line dancers AND couples dancers in the same room – two floors, two types of dancing, to one song (get creative, couples!! You can dance to line dance songs too). DJ Jeff Kruse debuts the all-request/beginner/lesson review room on Friday & Saturday nights in the neighboring ballroom this year.
- What else? Shop with our vendors, including doTERRA Oils by Charisse & PAPARAZZI Jewelry by Gabby. Snag a private lesson with your favorite instructor. Worship with us at Sunday Morning Stillness led by our own “Jay O”. Take a picture of our complimentary step sheets (find them in The Purple Binder). Or take a nap during the lunch or dinner break!
