Please join us for the 3rd Annual Limb Loss and Limb Difference Awareness Month Illinois Zoo Meet Up! April is LLLDAM so let's come together with some friends of our community to celebrate! We've loved seeing this community grow the last two years and can't wait to see you again!
This year marks a special milestone: we launched the Limb Difference Collective Foundation and received our official 501(c)(3) nonprofit status! Financially supporting families to attend this event was part of the vision when starting this org, and thanks to generous support, we will be able to cover zoo admission for immediate families of adults and children with limb differences interested in joining. 🕧Time: The zoo is open 10 AM - 5 PM
📷Picture Time: 12:00 PM - Meet at the big Brookfield Zoo sign on the north side of the central pond and we can try to get people together for a group pic! (anticipate corralling cats)
🤩Who: Family and Friends of our Limb Difference & Limb Loss Community
🧡Dress: If you want to wear ORANGE to celebrate LLLDAM it will help us stand out and find each other! You'll look fabulous, trust us!
💲Cost: We know a number of families have zoo memberships or are able to get tickets from other orgs or libraries, etc. We don't want financial barriers to keep people from attending. Please register at link above and we will include your family in our group ticket order at no cost to you!
🚘Parking Not Included. Parking Fee: $17 North Gate, $20 South Gate, Free for Members
