The second annual Friends of Lake Accotink Park-FLAP Beaver Boogie 5k Fun Run/Walk will occur 29 November 2025. Many Award Categories (M/W Run-Walk 1,2,3 // Overall 1,2,3 Place Winners and more - Awards:Backpacks Stuffed with prizes Overall 1,2,3rd Place Winners receive the coveted -Handmade FLAPer Boogie Beaver . Packet pick-up opens 9am event start 10am at Lake Accotink Park, 7500 Accotink Park Rd, Springfield VA 22150. Early Packet pick up available Friday 28 November (5-7pm) at Kilroys, Pasta Dinner optional $10.00 see tickets. Raffle (ticket attached to bib, items include a new Kayak and more.

This is an annual event which continues to raise awareness and resources to support our organization’s mission. As a certified 501(c)3 dedicated to our Lake Accotink Park mission, “Protect, restore, preserve and educate all concerning the natural, historical and cultural resources of Lake Accotink Park” . As a 100% volunteer organization – all donations go directly to support our projects and programs.
