The Jackson County Aging and Disability Resource Center invites you to attend the 3rd Annual Jackson County Senior Health Fair, to be held on Thursday, June 4th, from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Black River Falls Middle School.The Senior Health Fair is a free event open to all community members regardless of age or disability. We will have a large variety of vendors, door prizes and special presentations including: Morning Movement, WisTech Assistive Technology Program, and Pebbles of Positivity. A light lunch will also be provided as long as supplies last.
Help us to continue our “In June, We Wear Purple” mission and wear purple to the event to promote World Elder Abuse Awareness Day and Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month. As a community, we are working to highlight two pertinent issues affecting older adults; elder abuse and Alzheimer’s disease, which both are recognized nationally in the month of June.
