3rd Annual Interdependence Day Celebration!

All the stuff you love about 4th of July, with none of the stuff you might not.
Check out our video and photos from last year’s event!
For the third year in a row, we are celebrating how much we rely on each other, how our neighborhood heroes past and present keep us safe and inspired, and how truly interconnected we all are. It’s a cookout with lots of entertainment. And it’s in the morning/midday, so you can still do your fireworks with family in the evening if that’s your thing.
This year, our country's 250th anniversary and Colorado's 150th, we'll be celebrating the full range of history and perspectives on what the 4th of July means...
It’s a family-friendly event with lots of activities, so bring a blanket and any park toys you like, plus the whole crew.
More details are to come, but here are some things to expect:
• Delicious food from La Reyna del Sur and El Betos
• Afrofusion dance from Divine Flow Collective.
• Music from DJ STV
• Celebration of local heroes with artwork made by Olive Moya
• Henna from Shireen
• A magical botanical walk through the park with herbalist Monticue Connally
• A poetic incantation by Jovan Mays
• Chalk Art
• Games and activities for all-ages.
• We invite everyone to bring in names of people (past, present, and future) who show us how caring for one another builds and keeps our communities strong.
RSVP (on our website) RIGHT NOW!
