About this Event

Join Us for the 3rd Annual Hike for Justice!
This year, we’ll be hiking the Tennessee Valley Trail in Mill Valley, CA, alongside members of Exonerated Nation's network and allies of the Wrongful Conviction and Innocence movements. It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy a day in community while boosting your mental and physical health through outdoor activity.
Our guided hike will be led by Nicholas Collins, founder of 510 Hikers, and will take you along a beautiful, gentle hillside trail before descending to a secluded beach. The event is family-friendly, and we encourage you to bring loved ones to enjoy the day with us!
Event Details:
- Trail: Tennessee Valley Hiking Trail (3.4 miles, out-and-back, 2 hours)
- Parking: free, arrive early to secure a spot
- Facilities (parking area): restrooms, water fountains, and information kiosks
- Pet Policy: Dogs not allowed on the Tennessee Valley Trail or beach
Before the hike, join us for:
- Refreshments and a chance to learn more about Exonerated Nation's mission for justice, with Founding Director Obie Anthony and the Executive Board.
- A session from the African American Tobacco Control Leadership Council (AATCLC) highlighting the harmful impacts of tobacco use and the industry's predatory practices.
This event is free, but donations are welcome! All contributions will directly support Exonerated Nation’s vital programs and services, which help exonerees with mental health support, housing, and finding meaningful employment after being wrongfully convicted.
All fitness levels are welcome and hikers are encouraged to hike at their own pace. The first 50 registrations will receive a free T-shirt!
We look forward to seeing you on the trail as we hike for justice!
