The Gala of Giving HOPE is an annual event held every year in October in honor of Mental Illness Awareness Week. This dinner and networking event is centered on powerful stories, community, and the promise that recovery is possible. You’ll hear from people who’ve walked through darkness and found light. You’ll be surrounded by others who care deeply about the mental health mission. And you’ll leave knowing that your presence made a difference.
This year, we’re thrilled to welcome the inspiring Rebekah Gregory as our keynote speaker! Rebekah Gregory’s life changed forever when she survived the Boston Marathon bombing. But her story doesn’t end there—it’s one of resilience, purpose, and healing out loud. Her powerful experience offers a glimpse into the reality and struggles of healing the invisible wounds of trauma.
Rebekah’s keynote at this year’s Gala is sure to move you. It’s raw, it’s real, and it speaks to the heart of what NAMI stands for: hope, connection, and the power of community. She shares with candor and a dash of humor and spirit, reaching out to connect with others to help them feel less alone as they navigate their own unique recovery journey.
