3rd Annual Dr. Adam McCray Memorial Day Event

Join us for the 3rd Annual Dr. Adam McCray Memorial Day Event, a meaningful community gathering in Peoria, Arizona focused on remembrance, connection, and supporting veterans.

This Memorial Day, come together with veterans, families, and community members for a morning hike and post-event meet-up benefiting Arizona veteran-serving nonprofits.

Your participation helps create a meaningful Memorial Day space where veterans, families, and community members can come together in remembrance, connection, and support. Additionally, your donation helps support organizations providing outdoor healing programs, equine-assisted learning, and clinician wellness support.

Please note: The Community Hike is free and does not require a paid ticket!

10:15 AM – Memorial Hike Begins
Participants will hike together in remembrance and reflection.

10:45 AM – 12:00 PM – Community Meet-Up

Beneficiary Organizations

Raising funds to provide a special equine-assisted learning event for clinicians who treat first responders, veterans, and their families, bringing awareness to clinical burnout, secondary trauma, and provider wellness.

Arizona Trail Association VETS Program

Connecting veterans with fellow service members and the Arizona National Scenic Trail through service, camaraderie, and purpose. The program creates meaningful opportunities for veterans through trail stewardship, outdoor connection, and continued service. We Build, We Protect.

Dr. Adam McCray was a beloved psychologist, professor, husband, father, and friend who dedicated decades to serving veterans and their families. He lost his battle with depression in December 2024, leaving behind his wife and two children.

His legacy lives on through service, compassion, and advocacy for mental health.
