3rd Annual Colonial Classic Fundraising Tournament

Join us for the 3rd Annual Colonial Classic, benefiting the Robert Morris University Bowling Team!
This year's event features an exciting new singles handicap format, giving bowlers the opportunity to compete individually while supporting RMU Bowling.
Tournament Format:
- Bowl 4 games across 4 pairs of lanes
- Lowest game is dropped
- Highest 3-game total with handicap wins
- Challenge oil pattern (to be announced closer to the tournament date)
Averages:
Handicap is 80% of 206 (challenge average equivalent of 220 standard average). A bowler's highest USBC sanctioned average for the 2025-2026 season will be used. If a bowler does not have a sanctioned average from the '25-'26 season, we will accept an unsanctioned average if a dated league sheet can be provided. If you do not have an average, a challenge shot average of 158 for women and 185 for men will be assigned. Provided averages will all be converted to challenge pattern averages based on the USBC conversion table. The Tournament Director has final say on all averages.
Youth bowlers are permitted to bowl the event, however a USBC Eligibility Consent form must be completed and submitted waiving the right to any prize money. In leu of prize money, other awards will be available for Youth bowlers.
Entry Fee: $50 Total
- $5 for lineage
- $25 for prize fund
- $20 donation to the RMU Bowling Team
Payout: 1 in 5 entries (based on a minimum field of 50 bowlers).
Side Action:
Additional optional competition will be available throughout the event:
- Scratch pot games
- Scratch and handicap brackets
- 2nd game blind handicap doubles
Alumni Perk:
All RMU Bowling Alumni who participate will receive a free Colonial Classic tournament t-shirt.
