American Legion Post 75, located directly across the street from NWFL State College at 898 E James Lee Blvd, will be having the 1st round of the 3rd Annual “Claim the Tail”Crawfish Competition on Saturday, May 31, 2025.
The crawfish boil competition starts at noon and runs until 4pm. Team entry fee is $200.00 (depending on price of crawfish this may increase or decrease) which includes 1 bag of crawfish. The deadline to enter the competition is Friday, April 23rd.
For those just wanting to show up and eat or judge people’s choice, you can do that too. There will be approximately 900lbs of crawfish, 80lbs of shrimp, and hot dogs to eat. There will be information to come on Band and other activities.
This is a crawfish boil competition with awards and bragging rights up for grabs for Judges Choice, Peoples Choice with all new Judging Criteria.
