The Conrail Historical Society will hold its third quarter 2025 membership meeting on Saturday, August 16th, 2025 at the historic PRR station currently owned by the PRRT&HS at 150 Helen Street, Lewistown, PA 17044 along the former PRR/PC/CR mainline.We're especially excited for two fantastic events during the day: John Frantz speaking to us about the PRR archives and their use today for preservation along withe some rare facts, and a rare opportunity to tour the magnificent N scale layout of Todd Treaster! The schedule for the day will be:
10:00 AM - Attendees will meet at the Lewistown station. We will spend the morning enjoying the station and railfanning what trains NS may send our way.
12:00 PM - Enjoy pizza provided by The CRHS or feel free to bring your own lunch.
12:30 PM - We'll hold The CRHS 3rd quarter business meeting. Immediately afterward, John Frantz will speak to us.
From 2:30pm to 4:00pm - We'll move to Todd Treaster's home to tour his amazing NY,S&A Pittsburgh Division N scale layout, featuring over 10,000 (!) pieces of rolling stock.
4:00 PM - Event officially ends.
This meeting is open to the public. All are welcome!
*Attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult responsible for that attendee. That adult must be on site at all times while the minor is attending the event.
