Explore the history and evolution of 3D printing and discover how it’s shaping industries today. Learn the basics of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to create simple 3D models, prepare files for printing, and follow the workflow from design to finished product. You also learn where to find free, ready-to-print files online and print your own parts to take home. We cover the different types of 3D printers available on the market, features, and costs associated with owning one. By the end of camp, you have the skills to design, source, and print your own creations. This camp is perfect for hobbyists, future engineers, and innovators! ________________________
Camps run half days, with the option to stack a morning and afternoon camp for a full day. Students who stay all day can bring a sack lunch and drink and stay supervised by EICC staff during the lunch hour. Families can also apply for a scholarship to help cover camp costs.
