The History of Pine Grill
Born from the spirit of the legendary Pine Grill nightclub on Jefferson Avenue, the Pine Grill Jazz Reunion presented by the African American Cultural Center of Buffalo is a tribute to Buffalo's rich Black culture and musical legacy.
Since the early 1990s, the African American Cultural Center has hosted this beloved summer tradition- two weekends of FREE live music, community connection, and cultural celebration in Martin Luther King Jr. Park on Buffalo's East Side.
Honoring the legends who once played the original Pine Grill and spotlighting today's rising stars, the Pine Grill Jazz Reunion keeps the beat of Buffalo's Jazz, Blues, Soul, and R&B music alive.

What to Expect /Important Info
Attendance: During the Pine Grill Jazz Reunion, we anticipate over 5,000 attendees over the course of two Sundays. Many attendees have been coming to Pine Grill for years, and bring their lawn chairs, blankets, tents and even rent a pavilion to enjoy the music, vibes and love out on the lawn.
Security & EMS: There will be Event Security and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) throughout MLK Park.
Activations
Advance: Artist Meet & Greet: Saturday, August 1st and Saturday, August 8th, 2026. Come and meet our headliners at our Artist Meet & Greet at the African American Cultural Center (AACC) located at 350 Masten Avenue Buffalo, NY. Additional details forthcoming.
Saturday (8/1/26) - Meet David P. Stevens and other local artists.
Saturday (8/8/26) - Meet Pamela Stevens and other local artists.
Onsite: The "WE" in Wellness there will be wellness stations.
Applications
Vendor Applications - Applications are now closed as of July 2, 2026. If you are interested in participating as a vendor (food/merchandise, etc) during the Pine Grill, please complete the form. Note: Food vendors there is a mandatory meeting required to participate (see details on application).
Emerging Artist Applications - If you are interested in participating as an artist during the Pine Grill, please complete the form. Note: Our Events & Production teams will be sending out confirmations on a rolling basis. Deadline: Monday, July 13, 2026.
Pavilion Rentals Applications - If you are interested in renting a pavilion during either Sunday, please complete the Pavilion Rental application. The cost is $300.00, and there are only five (5) Pavilions available each week. Payment can be made by Eventbrite (credit card), or by check/money order.

These deadlines allow time to collect payments, finalize artwork, order materials, and press shirts ahead of the first festival weekend — order early to guarantee your spot!
Personalization Options
• Name Personalization (individuals) — $40
• Logo Customization (businesses, sponsors & organizations) — $50
• Name + Logo — $55
• 2X and up: add $3–$5
Standard Pine Grill shirts are available for $30 at the festival — custom preorders are a premium add-on.
Logo Requirements (for businesses, sponsors & organizations) To ensure the best print quality, please provide:
• File type: SVG, PNG (transparent background), or PDF
• Minimum size: 2000 pixels wide or tall
• Minimum resolution: 300 DPI (for PNG or JPG files) • Transparent background preferred
• Original logo files only — no screenshots, social media profile photos, or images pulled from websites
