About this Event
We invite you to join us at the annual Utah Crime Victims Conference for its 37th year! This conference will be held April 24 & 25, 2025 at the Zermatt Resort in Midway, Utah, and streamed on Zoom to those attending virtually.
Rooted in Justice: Elevating Victim Services Through Unity
Just as a forest of trees thrives through interconnected roots, we too can strengthen victim services by uniting our efforts. This conference aims to elevate the standards for survivors and victims by fostering collaboration among victim advocates, law enforcement, prosecutors, victim attorneys, and allied professionals. By sharing common roots and building upon the pillars of victim rights, we will forge a resilient network of support that uplifts every victim and ensures their voices are heard. Together, we grow stronger and more effective in our commitment to justice and healing.
The Conference Planning Committee has planned an exceptional conference, which will include plenary sessions, keynote presentations, and eight workshops such as: Hope and Despair, Victim Rights, Juvenile Justice, Ethical Obligations of Players in the Criminal Justice System, and Worst Roommate Ever Case Study among others. This year’s conference is designed to offer new and innovative strategies to those working with crime victims in Utah.
CEU and CLE credits are pending.
