We're back - ready to rock Florence City Hall with danceable rock 'n roll from the 50's, 60's and 70's ! Doors open at 6:00 - special guests Mike Brock and Charlie Melia start off the party with a set at 7:00, and we rock out at 8:00. Tickets are $15, and will be available at the door (cash or card), or online at Florentineplayers.com, cheap drinks and snacks are cash only.
From its humble beginnings in the late 1970's as the house band for the Alpine Inn in Ponca Hills, 36th Avenue became a sought-after cover band, playing the Omaha metro circuit, including Arthur's, the "Cat Lanes" - Wildcat, Cougar and Leopard, Paltani's, the Riviera Club and many more until 1987.
The event is a fundraiser for the Florence Historical Foundation.
