The Haunted Theatre Show

HAUNTED MAGIC & MUSIC SHOW at Omaha's Historic 40th Street Theatre on Saturday the 12th of October. Doors open at 6:30pm with the stage show starting at 7:30pm. All seating is first come, first served. The theatre will be immediately open upon arrival. The first half of the show will feature magic followed by a 15 minute intermission. The second half will feature live music from Ryan Chandler's long awaited music album, Monsters & Ghosts. The building is over 110 years old and is shrouded with ghost stories. This is your opportunity to see something truly magical: sorcery, mind reading, sleight of hand, art, music, and maybe even a ghost! - All mixed in with some Halloween fun.

PERFORMERS

MC - JuJu the Mystic: Julian Henning aka JuJu the Mystic is a local rap artist and close-up magician. During the show, you'll be able to see him display both his magic and uncanny rhyming abilities.

Jeff Delgado: Professional comic book artist, Jeff Delgado, will be displaying his wicked artwork in the theater, which will also be for sale. Jeff is originally from New York and sells his art at Comic Cons throughout the country.

Audrey Herren: As a classically trained cellist, Audrey has worked with many groups, notably performing with both Mannheim Steamroller and Transiberian Orchestra. Her cello can be heard on Ryan's new album, "Monster's & Ghosts" and she will be featured throughout the second half of the show.

Jessica Blaylock: As a young music artist who created original songs with her dad, Jessica opened for bands such as the likes of Cursive. She then took a long hiatus away from music. Her distinct signature voice is now ready to return to serenade the ghosts which haunt 40th Street Theatre.

Ryan Chandler: Known for performing on the streets of downtown Omaha, Ryan is the latest magician to receive the David P. Abbott Award from the Omaha Magical Society. His TV appearances include The CW Network's, "Penn & Teller: Fool Us" as well as their magic special, "Penn & Teller: Try This At Home." His first album, "Labyrinth" was released in 2011. This marks his return to music with his new album, "Monsters & Ghosts."

*Omaha guitar maker, John Hargiss, bought the historic building for his guitar shop. His plan was to fix it up the way in which he fixes guitars. However, he never planned on discovering something truly magical hidden within the building... an old vaudeville theater dating back over 100 years.
