36th Annual Vista Rod Run 2026

The 36th Annual Vista Rod Run will showcase hundreds of classic cars, vintage trucks, and—bringing back a crowd favorite— exciting Off-Road Vehicle category! Vehicle owners compete for the best of the best to win one of 40 trophies. Also featured is music throughout the event, Specialty Auto vendors and great downtown shopping and restaurants.

Important Notes:

-Vehicles must follow these designated load-in entrances. There will be no access through side streets

-Once parked, all participants must pick up their vehicle placard and any pre-ordered Vista Rod Run gear from the Informantion tent

Registration load-in & check-in takes place 6am-9am on Sunday, September 6th, 2026.

For groups and clubs, please meet and stage off-site and drive in together.

The show begins and is open to the public at 9am. After 9am, no entries will be accepted.

The show ends at 2pm - no cars are permitted to exit prior to this time.

It is recommended you present either a printed or digital version of your registration at check in, in order to expedite the process.

All participants will receive a vehicle placard with their vehicle’s information and a unique number at the information tent.

Please make sure this card is visible to judges by placing it in your vehicle’s drivers side dashboard.

Award winners do not have to be present during the ceremony, but we'd love the opportunity to recognize you. Winners, or a designated representative, need to collect their awards prior to event conclusion, as award trophies will not be mailed out.

We have many great restaurants for breakfast and lunch in Downtown Vista, as well as a variety of local food vendors.

Vehicles must remain on-site until 2 PM. No alcohol, loud music, or burnouts.

No Refunds. All registration sales are final. This registration is not redeemable for cash. Unauthorized or unlawful resale or attempted resale is grounds for seizure and cancellation without compensation. Reproduction of this registration is not permitted.
