After years living abroad, Ena returns to Venezuela. When she discovers a mysterious postcard, she embarks on a search across Caracas to uncover a forgotten writer. Her search gradually interweaves with her grandmother’s memory loss and her father’s quixotic dreams.

A So-Called Archive (dir. Onyeka Igwe, 2020, UK, 20 mins.)

Distinctive soundscapes, choral arrangements, and a radio play are used to imagine the ‘lost’ films from the former Nigerian Film Unit and the British Empire and Commonwealth Museum.
