A two-day festival of new music
For the curious and the seasoned enthusiasts,
for the young and the young at heart,
for those who know little Luxembourg
and those eager to discover the bigger picture
through sonic landscapes,
for fans of the do-it-yourself spirit
and those who enjoy a hands-off-senses-on experience
– our selection from the 1,500 pieces performed over the past 25 years is made for everyone –
so bring your kids, family, neighbors, and friends,
as we transform the entire Kulturfabrik into
a vibrant space full of sound and music.
Programme:
Concerts: Listen to wind instruments in dialogue, witness an interplay of past and present, hear echoes of the rock band Radiohead, step into an orchestral journey of the introspective mind and learn about Luxembourg's unknown histories through a fusion of literature and music.
Screenings: Discover Lucilin and its musical partners through our video series INTERSECTIONS showcasing records of minimalist compositions, experimental works, electronic sounds and daring improvisations or through our video series PROFILES presenting des portraits de compositeurs luxembourgeois et internationaux de différents horizons.
Workshops: Christelle Bertringer, a passionate musician and experienced educator, will guide your children aged 7-11 in creating their own short musical piece. Rapper, singer, and composer Klar Obscur lets you unleash your creativity during a Poetry Slam workshop.
Installation: Interact with pulleys, cranks, and pedals to influence the movement and sound of objects, and experience a delicate and immersive journey in Aussi Fragile Que Possible, an installation by composer Elsa Biston.
Live-cinema: Embark on a journey through Luxembourg of the past. Archival films and contemporary compositions paint a picture of a bygone Luxembourg.
